Scope
This Delivery and Payment Policy sets out the conditions governing order processing, payment methods, delivery of the products and the transfer of risk for products sold by NedermannLab.
All products sold by NedermannLab are intended exclusively for laboratory research use and are supplied within Business-to-Business (B2B) commercial relationships.
By placing an order, the customer confirms that they have read and accepted this policy.
order processing
Orders can be placed online through our website, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Orders are processed during normal business hours, on working days.
After placing an order, the customer will receive an automatic e-mail confirming that the order has been registered.
Sending this registration confirmation does not constitute final acceptance of the order, nor does it conclude the commercial contract.
NedermannLab reserves the right to request additional information before accepting an order, or to refuse or cancel any order where there are reasonable concerns regarding the legality, compliance or purpose of the purchase.
Product availability
All orders are fulfilled subject to stock availability.
If a product becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, the customer will be informed as soon as possible.
In such cases, NedermannLab may propose:
- partial delivery of the order
- dispatch of the product as soon as it is back in stock
- cancellation of the unavailable product and refund of any amounts paid for it, where applicable
Payment methods
NedermannLab may accept one or more of the following payment methods:
- bank card (Visa, Mastercard and other accepted cards)
- bank transfer
- alternative payment methods available at checkout
All payments are processed through authorised payment service providers and are protected by modern security and encryption measures.
NedermannLab does not store and has no access to the full bank card details used for payments.
Payment currency
Product prices are displayed in the currency selected on the website.
Where payment is made with a card issued in another currency, the issuing bank may apply its own exchange rate and fees, over which NedermannLab has no control.
Payment processing
Orders are processed once payment has been confirmed or, in the case of bank transfer, once the funds have actually been received in the specified account.
If payment is declined, cancelled or cannot be authorised, the order will not be processed.
delivering the products
Products are dispatched through courier companies selected by NedermannLab.
The delivery method available may vary depending on the destination country and the size of the order.
Once the parcel has been dispatched, the customer will receive the information needed to track the delivery, where available.
Delivery times
The delivery times shown on the website are estimates and may vary depending on:
- the destination of the parcel
- customs procedures (where applicable)
- the time of year
- the carrier’s logistics conditions
- events beyond NedermannLab’s control
NedermannLab makes all reasonable efforts to meet the estimated timeframes, but these do not constitute a contractual guarantee.
Delivery costs
Shipping costs are calculated automatically during the ordering process and are shown before the order is completed.
In certain cases, NedermannLab may offer free shipping as part of commercial campaigns or for orders meeting specific conditions.
Transfer of risk
The risk of loss of or damage to the products passes to the customer when the parcel is delivered to the address specified in the order.
The customer is responsible for inspecting the parcel on receipt and for reporting any visible damage in accordance with the procedure set out in the Returns and Complaints Policy.
International deliveries
NedermannLab delivers to many countries, in accordance with applicable law.
The customer is responsible for:
- verifying that importing the products into the destination country is lawful
- obtaining any authorisations that may be required
- paying any customs duties, VAT, local taxes or other applicable fiscal obligations, where these exist
NedermannLab cannot be held liable for delays, seizures or a refusal by customs authorities to allow the products to be imported.
Delivery addresses
The customer is responsible for providing complete and correct delivery address details.
NedermannLab cannot be held responsible for delays, additional costs or failed delivery caused by incorrect or incomplete details.
Force majeure
NedermannLab is not liable for delays or failure to perform its contractual obligations caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- natural disasters
- fire
- armed conflict
- pandemics
- strikes
- disruption of transport services
- restrictions imposed by public authorities
